| Baudoin |
Edwin Charles Baudoin, a native of Hahnville and resident of Norco,
passed away on May 16. He was 85 years old.
Mr. Baudoin is preceded in death by his wife, Rowena Jumonville
Baudoin and his parents, Albert Sr. and Henrietta Toups Baudoin,
He is the brother of Vivian B. Staub and Aline B. Robert, the late
Edith B. Amedee, Mae Baudoin, Louis Baudoin and Albert Baudoin,
Jr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial was held on May 19 at Sacred Hearth
Catholic Church in Norco, followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery
in Reserve.

Champagne
|
Milton J. “T-Man” Champagne, a native of Boutte and resident of
Paradis, passed away on May 15. He was 84 years old.
Mr. Champagne is survived by his wife, Fortunate D. Champagne,
stepsons Allan and Russell Dufrene and sisters Gladys C. Trauth
and Mabel C. Schaubhut. He is preceded in death by his parents,
James and Alice L. Champagne, stepson Gerald P. Dufrene, brothers
Clarence and Wilbert Champagne and sister Mildred C. Laque.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 17 at St. John Catholic
Church in Paradis, followed by interment in St. Mary Cemetery in
Raceland.

| Dutreix |
Odelia Banquer Dutreix passed away on May 25 at Ormond Nursing
and Care Center. She was 99 years old.
A native of Killona and resident of Destrehan for 45 years, Mr.
Dutriex is preceded in death by her husband, Lionel J. Dutriex,
parents George and Leonore Deroches Banquer and daughter Ruby Dutriex
Hubbard. She is survived by her son, Lionel J. Dutriex Jr., daughters
Joyce Dutriex Fabre, Betty Dutriex Monfra and Jane Dutriex Murray,
17 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 29 at St. Charles Borromeo
Catholic Church in Destrehan.

| Hollomon |
Naydean Cates Hollomon, 72, of Malvern, Ark. passed away on May
19 in a Little Rock hospital.
She was born on November 22, 1930 in Malvern to the late Henry
P. Cates and the late Edith J. Shinn Cates. She was retired from
Precision Industries where she worked as a machine operator. She
was a member of Third Baptist Church of Malvern.
She is survived by her husband, Royce Hollomon, sons Rodney Gregory
and his wife Rhonda of Luling, Ronnie Hollomon of Malvern, and Donnie
Hollomon and his wife Charlotte of Malvern, daughters Charlotte
Stuart and her husband Ray of Malvern, Judy Robinson and her friend
Carl Cook of Malvern, brother Don Cates and his wife Donna of Wrightsville,
Ark., sisters Agee Ashley of Wilmer, Texas and Avanell Overturf
and her husband Dale of Malvern, 11 Grandchildren-Regina Falgoust,
Kim Hester, Kelly Keisler, Christopher Hollomon, Siobhan Hollomon,
Sean Hollomon, Lance Dunlap, Danielle Dunlap, Kelcy Stuart, Eva
Bailey and Angela Robinson, and six Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Hiatt Gregory,
and her Parents.
Funeral services were held on May 22 in Atkinson Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. Ken Jerome officiating.

| Jordan |
Michael Lane “Butch” Jordan, a resident of Baton Rouge and native
of Goodhope, passed away on May 21. At his request, his body was
donated to LSU Medical School.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jordan; daughter and son-in-law
Shannon and Mickey Waltz; son Shane Jordan and his partner Seth
Stieb; stepsons Al Kirkland, Scott Kirkland and wife Keely, and
Sam Ramon; stepdaughter Holly Passman and husband DJ; sister Carole
Haydel and husband Wayne; and seven grandchildren, Alex Bethany
and Collin Waltz, Donovan, Alexis and Connor Kirkland and Caleb
Passman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Mikel
Jordan and brother Charles Jordan.
Funeral services were held on May 24 at HC Alexander Funeral Home
in Norco. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations
be made to the American Diabetes Association.

| Maranto |
Doris Bourgeois Maranto, a resident of Norco,
passed away on May 4 after a brief battle with cancer. She was 77
years old.
Mrs. Maranto is survived by her brother, Gaston
C. Bourgeois, Jr., and his wife, Theresa, nieces and nephews Debbie
and Howard Alexander, Danny and Vicky Bourgeois and Richard and
Tracy Bourgeois and great-nephew Cory Ranallo. She is preceded in
death by her husband, Samuel Maranto, and parents Gaston C. Bourgeois
Sr. and Corrine Guidry Bourgeois.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May
7 at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.

| Matherne |
Columbus Matherne, a resident of Houma, passed away on May 19.
He was 86 years old.
Mr. Matherne is survived by his stepsons, Tarvin and Clyde Dufrene,
stepdaughter Jane Dufrene and sister Lorena Romine. He is preceded
in death by his wife, Julienne Bourgeois Matherne, parents Alcest
and Honora Dugas Matherne, brother John Matherne, half-brother August
Guidroz and sisters Lena Barnet, Hattie Matherne, Virginia Dufrene
and Eunice Hogan.
Religious services were held on May 21 at Falgout Funeral Home
in Raceland, followed by interment in the Mennonite Cemetery in
Des Allemands.

| Woods |
Elizabeth Hutton Woods passed away on May 2.
She was 86 years old.
Mrs. Hutton was a native of Allow, Scotland,
and a resident of Metairie. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen
Ann Woods and husband Kenneth Fabacher, grandchildren Kenneth Jr.,
Nicole and Jeffrey Fabacher, sister-in-law Evelyn Decedue and brother
Bill Hutton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Woods,
Jr., parents John and Helen Adamson Hutton, three sisters and two
brothers. She was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations
be made to the Hospice of New Orleans or Ormond Nursing Home in
Destrehan. A prayer service was held on May 4 at H.C. Alexander
Funeral Home in Norco.
