by airport bill
St. Charles Parish officials say they are concerned that a bill
introduced in the House last week could take away all local authority
to prevent expansion of New Orleans International Airport into the
parish, and sabotage plans for a new, privately funded multimodal
transportation center between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
