Agriculture
industry will survive
The paper we write on, the
clothes we wear, and of course the food we eat are all products of
agriculture industries. Agriculture is Louisiana’s second largest
industry, with 80 percent of its million acres dedicated to producing
either food or fiber. For these reasons and many more Louisiana agriculture
communities must survive. The overwhelming turn out of Southeastern
Louisiana’s Limited Resource Agriculture Pilot Program Conference
on Tuesday signals that not only will the Louisiana Ag- communities
survive but it looks as though they will thrive. |
