dealer given 20-year sentence
A Des Allemands man has pled guilty to charges
of drug racketeering. Delwin Simmons
issued the guilty plea Tuesday. On Feb. 11 2000, following a lengthy
investigation, Simmons was arrested and charged with drug racketeering,
possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. |

LaBranche wetlands, another organization is reminding the public of
their plan for a new airport. The Louisiana Airport Authority has,

of a cargo and passenger airport located between Baton Rouge and New
Orleans. |

clever calculations by the department of planning and zoning.

Major Mackie, a New Sarpy resident, testified
before an EPA committee reviewing President Bush’s energy initiatives
last Friday. Mackie spoke about harmful emissions that he and many

airport still up for debate

Airport, LLC applied for state and federal permits to fill over
