agreement derailed
After hearing the plea of
over a dozen residents or prospective residents of Fashion Plantation
Estates, the St. Charles Parish Council rescinded an ordinance authorizing
the parish president to enter into an agreement concerning the railroad
crossing. |

Krewe
of Lul celebrates 25 year anniversary
The St. Charles Parish Historical
Foundation hosted a special presentation on the history of the Krewe
of Lul at last Thursday night’s meeting held at Esperanza Restaurant
in Luling. Members of the Krewe and Foundation enjoyed cocktails and
crawfish beignets as they looked at a wide array of pictures and memorabilia
on display commemorating the 25th anniversary since the Krewe’s inception.
