December 20, 2003 Hahnville man indicted in molestation case By Allen Lottinger, Jr. Harold Falgout Jr., 60, of Hahnville, was indicted Dec. 17 by a grand jury. The jury returned a true bill on nine counts of molestation of juveniles. Falgout was arrested Nov. 26 after allegedly inappropriately fondling three female juveniles between the ages of 10 and 14. The incidents occurred between 2001 and the present. According to Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Patrick Yoes, police were tipped off when one of the girls told her mother about the incident. Falgout was reportedly a friend of the girl’s family. The incidents reportedly took place in his home and vehicle. He is set to be arraigned on Jan. 6, 2004 before Judge Kirk Granier. Assistant District Attorney Kim McElwee will be prosecuting the case against Falgout. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact her at 783-6263.
