Former HHS star gets rave reviews from Ole Miss coach

Ole Miss defensive end Kentrell Lockett has started 26 games for the Rebels and has recorded 7 sacks and 21 1/2 tackles for loss. Lockett recently received the 2010 Chucky Mullins Courage Award and will get to wear the “38” patch on his jersey this season At the Southeastern Conference media days, Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt gave high praise to former Hahnville High School and current Rebel defensive end Kentrell Lockett.
Tigers focus on the little things in spring game against Rummel

Fans will get a sneak peak at the 2010 edition of the Hahnville Tigers on May 20 when the team hosts the Rummel Raiders at 5 p.m. Rummel eliminated the Tigers from the state playoffs 24-7 last season. Hahnville head man Lou Valdin said his team has been f When Hahnville takes the field Thursday night for their spring game against Rummel, Tiger head man Lou Valdin will be completely focused on the field and not the score board.
