Blitz-heavy Ehret will test Tiger offensive line

Last year, Ahmad White ran for 63 yards and scored a touchdown on only eight carries against John Ehret. This year, White will be the Tigers top option at running back. The Hahnville Tigers picked up a 14-0 victory over St. James in their jamboree, but the offense stumbled throughout the night due to penalties that hampered several important series.
Tiger receiver signs with Memphis, former DHS star on college award watch list

Former LSU running backs coach Larry Porter is noted for being a good recruiter and good fisherman. Well the first-year Memphis University head coach knows where to find good football talent in the state of Louisiana and last week he landed Hahnville wide receiver Derek Howard.
Valdin’s eyes will be focused on special teams during jamboree

The Hahnville defense struggled to contain Higgins’ run attack in a scrimmage last week, and the unit will need to have a much better performance against St. James in the jamboree on Aug. 26. The defense was supposed to be one of the main strengths for the Hahnville Tigers this season, but the unit struggled last week in a scrimmage against Higgins. Now, they will get a chance to redeem themselves when they host St. James in the Ed Reed Jamboree on Aug. 26.
HHS trio named to All-Metro team

Hahnville Tigers Brian Ensminger, Ben Taylor and Alvin Kelly all landed on the Times-Picayune's All-Metro Preseason Football Team for large schools.
Physical Higgins squad will test Hahnville’s offensive line

Ahmad White (pictured) and Brian Ensminger will be counted on to lead the Hahnville offense this season. The Hahnville Tigers will face their first big test of the year when they take the field on Aug. 19 at 5 p.m. for a scrimmage against Higgins.
