Hahnville wins big over H.L. Bourgeois

Quarterback Dylan Keller started his first game since injuring his shoulder in week two.  To finalize a dominating performance, Hahnville drove the football down to the H.L. Bourgeois one yard line before relenting and letting time expire instead of tacking another score.

Hahnville quarterback Dylan Keller, who started the season before going down to injury, returned last week for several plays against East St. John. The Hahnville Tigers are coming off a tough homecoming loss against East St. John, but they need to put that game behind them as they gear up to take on the H.L. Bourgeois Braves.

Hahnville’s Bryce Robinson finished the Catholic High Invitational with the second-fastest time run in the state this year. There were Tigers in Baton Rouge on Saturday, and it wasn’t just of the LSU variety. The Hahnville Tigers cross country team had an outstanding performance at the Catholic High Invitational, bringing home a sixth-place finish with 256 points.
East St. John will try to force Tigers to rely on passing game

Hahnville’s rushing attack was the key against Terrebonne as both Todge Scott and Lynn Simmons rushed for more than 100 yards. The Hahnville Tigers will take on the East St. John Wildcats for the team’s homecoming game this Friday. Hahnville (3-3, 2-1) is coming off a big 22-7 win over Terrebonne that they grinded out in the rain and mud.
