Tigers overhaul offense, defense under new head coach

Hahnville junior quarterback Mike Neal will lead a new Tiger offense installed under the direction of head coach Nick Saltaformaggio. New coach, new offense, new defense, new quarterback – this year the Hahnville Tigers are currently experiencing a once-in-a-generation overhaul they hope will see them improve on two back-to-back mediocre seasons.

Former Hahnville star running back Alfred Blue will suit up for the Houston Texans next season. Former Hahnville High School running back Alfred Blue is St. Charles Parish’s newest professional player after being drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

New Hahnville head coach Nick Saltaformaggio said his Tigers will put the “H” back in Hahnville. Fans will get their first look at next year’s squad at the Burger Bowl, which will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Hahnville High School football fans will get a chance to see new head coach Nick Saltaformaggio in action on Saturday as his Tigers battle it out in an intrasquad scrimmage known as the Burger Bowl.
