Tigers seek revenge against Lutcher after last year’s loss
September 16, 2010 at 12:46 pm
Linebacker Linzell Rhodes brings down a Sarah Reed ball carrier during Hahnville’s 56-6 win last week. The Hahnville defense will be tested this Friday when they travel to Lutcher to take on the Bulldogs. After a close contest with John Ehret two weeks ago, the Hahnville Tigers victory over Sarah Reed on Friday was anything but close at 56-6. The Tigers made a statement, gaining more than 430 yards of offense and holding the Olympians to just a handful of first downs. The state's sportswriters took notice of the victory as well, moving the Tigers up one spot to No. 5 in the LSWA (Louisiana Sportswriters Association) 5A Rankings.

Domination is a strong word, but not strong enough to describe the Hahnville Tigers’ 56-6 victory over the Sarah Reed Olympians on Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
Tigers plan to knock out Sarah Reed before fourth quarter

Hahnville running back Ahmad White rushed for 143 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead his team to a 31-27 win over John Ehret in the season opener. The Hahnville Tigers escaped with a 31-27 victory on Friday night after the John Ehret Patriots made a late charge.
Blitz-heavy Ehret will test Tiger offensive line

Last year, Ahmad White ran for 63 yards and scored a touchdown on only eight carries against John Ehret. This year, White will be the Tigers top option at running back. The Hahnville Tigers picked up a 14-0 victory over St. James in their jamboree, but the offense stumbled throughout the night due to penalties that hampered several important series.
