Hahnville defensive end Jamon Lathers chases down Istrouma quarterback Marquise Kaigler. The Tigers beat Istrouma 56-0, but will face a much more explosive offense when they take on Lutcher Friday night. After touchdowns were in short supply in week one, they were seemingly falling from the sky this past Friday night as the Hahnville Tigers shut out the Istrouma Indians 56-0.

Hahnville quarterback Easton Melancon was forced to scramble out of the pocket several times against Jesuit, but still managed to complete 21 passes for 239 yards. Heading into the season the Hahnville running game was supposed to be the strength of the offense, but the Tigers averaged a little more than 2-yards per carry in their 28-13 loss to Jesuit in the season opener.
