District heavyweight battle:Hahnville vs. Dutchtown

Hahnville wide receiver Derek Howard turns up field after making a catch against Destrehan last week. After beating their rival, the Tigers will find out just how good a team they are when they battle Dutchtown on Friday. The Hahnville Tigers emerged victorious and secured bragging rights in St. Charles Parish's most anticipated game of the year as they defeated the Destrehan Wildcats 35-14 on Friday. But, as big as that game was to the fans and the players, the Tigers have a much more daunting task this week facing the No. 3 Dutchtown Griffins.
HHS vs. DHS is battle of experience vs. youth

Last year, Hahnville destroyed Destrehan 48-10, giving the Tigers their first win over their rivals since 2004. This year, Hahnville is once again picked by many to knock off the Wildcats, mainly due to the experience the Tigers field at almost every position.

The Tiger defense came up with several big plays against Walker and will need to be disciplined when they take on East Ascension’s split bac Due to the cancellation of their homecoming game against Vandebilt Catholic, the Hahnville Tigers had a rare bye week before beginning district play against East Ascension. That allowed the team to focus on one thing - fundamentals.
Tigers ride running game to 28-14 win over Walker

It may have been hot and humid at Tiger Stadium on Friday night, but there was a “Whiteout” on the field as Hahnville running back Ahmad White rushed for over 200 yards and four touchdowns in the Tiger’s 28-14 victory over O. Perry Walker.
Hahnville must win field position battle to beat Walker

Hahnville senior Jared Vial makes a special teams tackle in the Tigers 42-28 loss to Lutcher. Tiger head coach Lou Valdin said the main reason for Hahnville’s loss was starting field position. For Hahnville head coach Lou Valdin, last week's 42-28 loss to Lutcher was because of one reason - field position. And the team must make huge strides in that area if they hope to beat undefeated O. Perry Walker on Friday night.
