Book signing at farmer’s market
Author A. K. Keller will be signing copies of her book “Belle Terre Acadie” at the German Coast Farmers Market on Wed., Oct. 18, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Wednesday west bank market is located behind Dougie V's Restaurant, Esperanza, River Road, Luling.
Keller’s novel tells the story of the Acadians and their long and arduous journey from their paradise in Nova Scotia (Nouvelle-Écosse) and their diaspora around the world as a result of their expulsion by the British. Tossed to the winds like seeds of grass they finally took root settling and finding peace and prosperity in the rich alluvial lands of South Louisiana.
