She was the daughter of the late Archie and Sarah Winfield, wife of the late Henry Hayes Sr., mother of Cynthia Perrilloux (Fred), Henry Hayes Jr., Velvet Bourgeois (Clinton), Lisa Gray (Clarence), and Nicole Robertson (Joseph); sister of Terry Johnson (Richard), three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, 17 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Oct. 22 at True Light Baptist Church in Garyville with Rev. Wesley Anderson Sr. and Rev. Donald August officiating. Interment followed at Zion Travelers Cemetery in Reserve. Services were entrusted to Hobson Brown Funeral Home of Garyville.
