She was the beloved mother of John Prince (fiance Jenny Nicholas), daughter of the late Junior and Lydia Dunn Dufrene, sister of Louis Dufrene, Loretta Breaux, Patty Thibodeaux, Lisa Matherne, Carol Dufrene and the late Danny Dufrene; and grandmother of Madison and Kason Prince. She was a native of Bayou Gauche and resident of Paradis.
Services were held on Oct. 13 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
