R.J. Vial goes PINK
On Oct. 18, students and faculty at R.J. Vial Elementary School in Paradis raised money for the Susan G. Komen Research Foundation by hosting a PINK dress down day.

Two students, Erin Housend and Margo Matherne proposed the idea to their Principal, Jackie Sperier, and together they made it happen. Students donated $1 and in return they were allowed to dress in pink. The school raised over $230 for cancer research.
