Doucet

Gary J. Doucet, 64, passed away on Oct. 14, 2011 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Patsy Welch Doucet, father of Garrett John Doucet (wife Katheryn) and Patrick James Doucet (wife Lacey), grandfather of Kyle Patrick, Haley-Kate Angelle, Ava Claire and Cooper Paul Doucet, son of the late Ocean Doucet and Loretta Angelette Doucet, and brother of Eddie T. Doucet. He was a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of St. Charles Parish. Gary was a Knights of Columbus 4th Degree for 36 years, LIFA member for 20 years, usher, Eucharistic Minister, Lecturer and Religious Educator at Holy Family, St. Gertrude and St. John Catholic Churches, and member of the Hahnville Lions Club for 11 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis on Oct.17 with interment Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
