On Oct. 12, students from Hahnville High School participated in "Consequences of Impact," a mock crash involving impaired driving, at ITT Technical College in St. Rose.

Students acted out a fatal crash scenario in front of their peers, allowing the students to see first-hand how impaired driving can quickly turn deadly, affecting everyone involved. The event was an effort to reduce the number of crashes that are caused by impaired driving, distracted driving and lack of seat belt use.
