The 2006-2007 J.B. Martin Cheerleaders received top awards at the Universal Cheerleading Association’s camp this summer at Southeastern Louisiana University.

The squad placed first place in both the cheer and extreme routine competitions, and received an overall superior rating.

Jada Gonzalez was selected as a UCA Allstar Cheerleader, and Eden Curole and Mindi Matherne were named J.B. Martin Cheer Captains.

The cheerleaders look forward to spreading some “Cougar Pride” throughout the parish.

The squad is coached by Mrs. Thompson and Ms. Barrios.
