Lee causes minimal damage, flooding in St. Charles

Tropical Storm Lee caused 200 power outages, partial flooding of two Norco homes and led to high water on 31 parish streets over the weekend, according to statistics released by St. Charles Parish.

While that was unfortunate, the parish was spared from major damage despite high winds that knocked 20 trees down across roads and power lines, four tornado warnings and rainfall totals that reached 14.33 inches at Hahnville High School.
