Payton Elise Bourgeois smiles wide while she is crowned as this year’s Teen Queen.
Seventeen-year-old Hailee Weber of Destrehan was named Miss Queen, 15-year-old Payton Elise Bourgeois of Montz was named Teen Queen and 12-year-old Alexandra Margarita Workman of Kenner was named the Junior Queen. To learn more about the pageant, visit festivalofcharities.webs.com.

After nearly 90 years in business, during which time only one family has owned and operated it, Madere’s Garage in Hahnville is closing.
