Alexander

Earvin "Cain" Alexander Sr., 64, departed this earthly life on July 4, 2011 at University Hospital of New Orleans.

He was the son of the late Ethel and Perkin Alexander Sr., father of Earvin Alexander Jr. (wife Nachela), Phyllis Williams (husband Greg), Edwin Alexander (wife Ebony) and Lashonda Robinson (husband Devin); brother of Andrew Alexander (wife Veronica), Carolyn Wallace, Darnell Jackson (husband Isac), Debra Borne (husband Bruce), Gloria Jackson and the late Lucille Brown, Ethal Mae Lewis, Sedonia Bailey, Perkin Sr., Milton and Warren Alexander; and brother-in-law of Manuel Bailey. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends were invited to funeral services on July 9 at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Hahnville.
