LOUPE
Kirk Andrew Loupe on Mon., Sept. 11 at 8:10 p.m. in Luling. Son of Donald Andrew Loupe and Jacqueline Candies Loupe. Companion of Sandra LeGrande, Father of Clint Octave Loupe, Jacob Andrew Loupe and Brandi Louise Loupe. Brother of Melanie Triche, Brother-in-law of Chris Triche, Father-in-law of Tabitha Matthews, Uncle of Caitlin Triche. Age 49 years. A native of Raceland and a resident of Des Allemands. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend a mass of christian burial on Thurs., Sept. 14 at 11 p.m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation was at the St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until funeral. Falgout Funeral Home LLC was in charge of arrangements.
TURNER
Rev. Eugene Turner on Thurs., Sept. 7 at Canon Hospice in Jefferson. Son of the late Caroline Hadley and Richard Turner. Father of Ricky Turner, Brigitte Turner Williams, Kim Turner Butler, Lisa Turner Scott, Leslie Markey and Kevin Markey. Brother of Ethel Borne, Mildred Stokes, Bernice Champagne, Wilelmina Simmons, Bessie White, Geneva Dorsey, Louis Sr., Allen Sr., Lee Turner Sr., the late Hazel Jackson and Leona Daniels. Preceeded in death by 2 grandsons, Roluan Turner and Rashad Williams. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host o nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and four godchildren, Michelle Maize, Erika Camper, Michelle Smith and Bridgette Darensbourg. Rev. Turner was Pastor of Bell Baptist Church in Luling, where he served for 32 years, retired from Avondale Shipyards, United States Air Force Veteran and a 32nd Degree Mason for the Stonewall Lodge #76 Scottish Rites. Age 68 years. A native and resident of Luling. Wake and funeral services were held at Bell Baptist Church, 251 Easy St. in Luling. Rev. Rodney Johnson, Sr., pastor of the Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church of Hahnville oficitated. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery in Boutte and serviced by Robottom.
