National kicking camp comes to DHS

Destrehan High School will host a National Camp Series kicking and snapping camp on their football field on July 16.

The camp is for any interested kickers, punters and snappers in New Orleans and the surrounding area. It begins at 9 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. and registration is $250.

College coaches from around the country will attend the camp.

The camp will not only offer professional expertise from experienced special teams players, but will also give an honest assessment and evaluation of on-field performances.
