Lambert
Paul Edward Lambert, 57, passed away on June 11, 2011 at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie. He was an operator for Shell Motiva and member of the Knights of Columbus, United States Army during the Vietnam War, and the American Legion Post 366.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Christine LeBlanc Lambert, son, Christopher Paul Lambert, mother, Louise Dixon Lambert, sister, Susie Lambert, parents-in-law, Durel and Marie LeBlanc, brother-in-law, Dlaton LeBlanch (wife Bridget), four sisters-in-law, Beverly Cazenave (husband Ira), Backy Raiford (husband Jeff), Hilary Plauche (husband Steve) and Maisy Robichaux (husband Kenny); one granddaughter, Evelyn Hart Lambert, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Morris Lambert, grandparents, Edward Dixon and Sydney Dixon Mackies, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marguerite Lambert.
Services were held June 17 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with Fr. Daniel Bru officiating. Military honors followed in the church mausoleum. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
