The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has made four arrests in connection with the armed robbery of Circle K in Boutte.

The incident began at 5 a.m. last Thursday when authorities say a man armed with a tire iron walked into the Highway 90 store and demanded money.

After the clerk complied, the man fled.

Right after the crime, police arrested Mardi Brown, of 454 Boutte Estates Drive, and Tyrell Diggs, of 13476 Hwy. 90 in Boutte.

A third suspect, Vaccarrin Diggs, was also arrested later that day when police found him walking along Kinler Street in Boutte.

All three were charged with principal to armed robbery.

That night, the man authorities believe brandished a tire iron and robbed the Circle K, turned himself in.

Gary Diggs, 28, of 128 Hickory St. was charged with armed robbery.
