Hahnville quarterback Easton Melancon and Tiger offensive lineman Hunter Perrin attended the University of Southern Mississippi football camp last week and impressed USM head coach Larry Fedora.

Melancon, who will be a junior next year, was awarded the Camp Quarterback MVP. Perrin, who will be a sophomore next season, was named the Camp Offensive Line MVP.

That’s impressive when you take into account that the top football players in the region annually attend camp at Southern Miss. With two Tigers rising above the competition, Hahnville head coach Lou Valdin should be excited about his offense next season.
