Bates
Homer Lee Bates Jr., 51, passed away on May 19, 2011.
He was an automotive mechanic for Kenner Starter and Generator.
He is survived by a sister, Brenda A. Smith, his life-long partner, Joseph Beal, nieces, Angelle Nicolle Smith, Holly and Kristy Zeigler; nephews, Kim P. Smith Jr., Aiden J. and David Zeigler; uncle, Jim Pierce, and aunt, Barbara Roselle. He leaves behind many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer L. Bates Sr. and Nell J. Pierce, sisters, Glenda Gayle Bates and Lenda Bates Duhe, and an uncle, Henry Bates.
Services were held June 4 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences at www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
