Thomas F. Cheramie
He was the beloved husband of Cecile B. Cheramie, son of the late Bruger Cheramie Sr. and Eulucia C. Cheramie, brother of Beatrice C. Boyer, Melza C. Mayet and the late Bruger Jr., T.J., Hubert, Rudolph, Morris Cheramie, Marion Gregoire, Esperence Martin, Pearl Poche and Yvonne Rebstock. He was a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Paradis.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus 2409, American Legion Post 131 and VFW. He was also on the Board of St. Charles Hospital for 30 years and Chairman for 25 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis on May 31 with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

A multi-million-dollar expansion planned at Quixote Studios in St. Rose is on hold indefinitely while the film industry sorts out bills Gov. Bobby Jindal signed last week capping tax credits that has lured hundreds of film productions to Louisiana.
