Curry James Lewis
Curry James Lewis, 39, passed away on May 9, 2011 in Des Allemands.
He was the son of Exodus Mitchell III of St James and the late Deanna Mary Mitchell, father of Ashantia Wilson, Shanequia Williams and Franchesca Isaac, brother of Laterence (Trenitta), Yemana (Stacy), Jarmaine, Jade (Diona), Tremaine, Keena (Anthony), Bernadeth and the late Troy, and grandfather of Amira Tart. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was a native of Edgard and a resident of Hahnville. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St John the Baptist Catholic and all neighboring churches and employees of Miken Specialties were invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard on May 18 with Father Joel Cantoine, Celebrant. Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Services were by Robottom Mortuary.
