Bernadette Grenner Martinez
Bernadette Grenner Martinez, 64, entered into enternal rest on May 18, 2011.
She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Destrehan for the past 43 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry J. Martinez Sr., mother of Stacey M. Perret (husband Lonnie), Vicky M. Cazentre (husband Stephen) and Larry J. Martinez Jr. (wife Lenni); daughter of the late Arthur Grenner and Pauline Salome Grenner, grandmother of Lauren Angele Perret, Taylor Lynn Perret, Emma Therese Cazentre, Luke Stephen Cazentre and the late Andrew Paul Martinez.
She was retired from St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and a member of the East St. Charles Fire Department, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Fraternal Order of Police. The family would like to express special thanks to Doctors Mann and Jayakrishnan and the entire St. Chares ICU Staff.
Services were held on May 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with interment following at the church mausoleum. Condolences may be offered at www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
