Alleged Luling voyeur booked on child pornography charges

A Luling man arrested earlier this month after authorities say he took lewd photographs of children has been booked with additional charges of child pornography.

Daniel A. Kinder, 33, of 313 Maryland Drive, was arrested May 17 and booked with seven counts of child pornography.

Kinder was originally charged with video voyeurism on May 2 after police executed a search warrant at his home and found several  lewd photos on his computer, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

He allegedly took photos of young girls and zoomed in on parts of their body.

“We received an anonymous tip and when we searched his computer we found a number of images,” Yoes said.

Some of those images included child pornography and Kinder was rebooked on those charges last week.
