Seven-year-old Chris Thibodaux saved five gallons worth of can tabs.

He was recently honored by the Jerusalem Shrine Center in Destrehan, which collects the tabs to help in assisting the needs of sick children.

He reached his goal through the help of his family and friends. Cub Scout Troop 370 Tiger Cubs supported him.
