The bride is the granddaughter of the late Edward and Alida David, Clark and Mary Dugas, and Carlton and Norma-Jean Neal. She is a native of Luling and a 2007 graduate of Hahnville High School.
She currently attends Nicholls State University and is pursuing a degree in elementary education with a certification in special education. She is employed as a Honeybee for the New Orleans Hornets and a ZUMBA instructor at Anytime Fitness in Luling.
The groom is the grandson of Al and Anna Lee Belaire and the late Roosevelt and Eunice Cheramie. He is a native of Morgan City and a 2005 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
He is employed at Ocean Marine Contractors in Morgan City.
The couple will wed on May 5, 2012 in Florida. They will reside in Morgan City after the wedding.
