James
Allen James, 57, passed away on April 17, 2011 at River Region Hospice in River Ridge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy on the USS Goldsboro in the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 366, VFW Post 3337, Norco Volunteer Fire Department and an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his two children, Sara and Jason James, two brothers, Michael and Warren James, his mother, Lois Mae James, four grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Allen James.
Services were held on April 19 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco and continued on April 20 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Military honors followed at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. Friends and family are invited to offer condolences at www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
