Perkins

David John Perkins Sr., 62, passed away on April 20, 2011 in Bayou Gauche.

He was the beloved husband of Angie Dufrene Perkins, father of Robbie Perkins (wife Tracy), Stacie Dufrene (husband Elvin Jr.) and the late David “Poncho” Perkins Jr.; son of the late Wilbert and Eva Vanacor Perkins, stepson of the late Whitney Bonvillain, brother of Harris “TT” Perkins, Alan Perkins, the late Ernest “Chooky” Perkins and Judy Cortez. He is also survived by four gandchildren.
He was a native of Des Allemands and resident of Bayou Gauche.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis on April 25 with interment at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
