Ryan T. Mahler and Tiffany M. Landry
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Ryan T. Mahler recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Donna and Adrian Mahler of Riverview Drive in St. Rose.
Mahler graduated in 2010 from Destrehan High School.
Air Force Airman Tiffany M. Landry also graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base.
She is the daughter of Rachel and Roddy Landry of Carlon Drive in Des Allemands.
Landry graduated in 2009 from Hahnville High School.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 949 views
