SCB students collect $6,000 in memorial run

The students with the most laps in ten minutes were: Jonathan Howat, Jude Donnaud, Nicholas Roberts, Dane Authement, and Stephen Brown. Students with the most donations were: Mallory Wolfe with $310 and Antoinette and Joseph Chiarella with $246.70. The total collected was $6,000 and will be donated to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.

Vitter in Bayou Gauche to speak about action on flood insurance rate hikes - 1081 views
Little more than a week after officials from 14 parishes took a trip to Washington, D.C. to lobby against potential flood insurance rate hikes, some of those same officials convened with Sen. David Vitter at the home of a Bayou Gauche couple.
