Johnny Wayne Harris passed away on March 29, 2011 with his loving family at his side.

He was the devoted husband of Morene McIlveeen for 57 years, loving father of Susan Harris Lorio (husband Pete) and Virginia "Ginny"

Harris Watson (husband William "Stick"), caring grandfather of Dane Lorio (wife Anne), Julie Lorio Krummes (husband Chris), Kelly Watson and Amber Watson; proud great-grandfather of Nolan John Krummes, son of the late Rubie Helms Harris and J. Albert Harris, brother of Naomi Harris Rowland (husband Max), Margaret Harris Brantley, James A. Harris (wife Maggie) and the late Monique Tomlinson. He was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

 

The family would like to express their thanks to Vickie, Freda, Jana and the staff of River Region Hospice for the compassionate care and a special thanks to Cheryl for her loving kindness.

 

Friends and relatives were invited to funeral services on April 1 at the First Baptist Church in Luling with interment following at St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling. Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.westsideleitzeagan.com
