Deshinae Petetant, a senior at Hahnville High School, has been selected as an Ambassador for the Satellite Center.

She has also received a scholarship for Louisiana State University which she plans to attend following her graduation.

She is the daughter of Amy Petetant and the granddaughter of Leon and Irma Petetant. They are all residents of Boutte.
