She was the beloved wife of Alden Spanier, mother of Mike and Jeff Spanier, grandmother of Adama dn Caleb Spanier, Jordan and Jacob Spanier, and Grace and Grant Planchet; sister of Dem Borchet, Donna Goodman and Mary Dillenkoffer. She was a native of Columbus, Miss. and resident of Luling for 40 years.

Funeral services were held at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp on March 20 with interment at Garden of Memories. Condolences may be expressed online at www.tharpsontheimer.com.
