Police: Man rams ex-girlfriend’s car off road, steals radio
A 27-year-old Edgard man was arrested after authorities say he rammed his car into his ex-girlfriend's vehicle, forced her off the road and then stole her radio.
Tyrone Woods Jr., of 901 Hwy. 18, allegedly drove into his ex-girlfriend's vehicle on LA 628 in Norco. After repeatedly ramming into her vehicle, Woods was able to force his ex-girlfriend to pull over on the side of the road, according to St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes.
"She had two other people in the car, and while they were pulled over (Woods) continued to ram into the vehicle," Yoes said. "When the occupants exited the vehicle, (Woods) went into his ex-girlfriend's car and ripped the radio out."
Woods drove off but was apprehended shortly after on LA 628 and was booked with simple robbery, felony carrying illegal weapon, three counts of aggravated criminal damage to property and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
