MLK scholarship banquet set for Sept. 16
The Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Organization of St. Charles Parish presents “The Dreamers’ Dream,” the thirteenth annual scholarship banquet on Sat., Sept. 16 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the John L. Dorsey Multipurpose Center located at 13635 Old Spanish Trail in Boutte.
The guest speaker will be Sister Mary Moss, minister of Christian education, from Shiloh Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
There is a $25 donation charge per person.
