Arrests
•Bradley P. Madere, 42, of 132 Deslatte Lane in Gheen, was arrested on March 9 and charged with aggravated burglary and simple robbery.
•Jarrett C. Hue, 41, of 114 Landry Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested on March 14 and charged with aggravated battery.
•Steven Matherne, 24, of 14825 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis, was arrested on March 14 and charged with 2nd degree battery.
•Mark A. Young, 27, of 235 Post St. in Killona, was arrested on March 11 and charged with unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling, simple criminal damage $500 to $5,000, harassing phone calls, theft of a motor vehicle and simple battery.
•Bridget S. Gorden, 44, of 617 Magnolia Ridge Road in Boutte, was arrested on March 14 and charged with D.W.I., open container and possession of Marijuana.
•Clyde Hicks, 51, of 5712 Lindley Crescent Drive in Indian Trail, N.C., was arrested on March 14 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, open container and driver not licensed.
•Jerald J. Medina, 53, of 402 Barton Ave. in Luling, was arrested on March 14 and charged with possession of Methamphetamine (7 cts.).
•Adrian Mitt, 27, of 116 Byrd Lane 8 in Hahnville, was arrested on March 10 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless operation, hit and run, resisting arrest by flight, suspended driver’s license, possession of Marijuana, illegal use of a CDS in the presence of a minor (5 cts.), possession of a stolen auto and theft under $300.
•Cory A. Reese, 29, of 605 Franklin Court in LaPlace, was arrested on March 9 and charged with possession of Hydrocodone, suspended driver’s license, expired MVI and license plate illuminations needed.
•Amanda R. Smith, 29, of 134 Woodburn Drive in Houma, was arrested on March 6 and charged with possession of SCH IV - Zanbar, suspended driver’s license, speeding and having contraband in a correctional center.
•Troy A. Frank, 23, of 234 A E. 24th St. in Reserve, was arrested on March 5 and charged with possession of Crack, possession of Marijuana, driver not licensed and not driving on the right when possible.
Theft
•A cell phone, total value of $499, was stolen from 1 Wildcat Lane in Destrehan on March 14.
•A 2005 Dodge Magnum, total value of $10,000, was stolen from 16689 LA 631 in Des Allemands on March 14.
•A 2009 All Terrain Vehicle, total value of $9,500, was stolen from 134 Julie St. in Paradis on March 17.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 1052 views
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police were able to track down a 23-year-old man who reportedly stole items from a car and broke into a house early Friday morning.
