Jamie Paul Harris
Jamie Paul Harris, 26, entered into God’s Kingdom on Jan. 29, 2011.
He was a lifelong resident of Destrehan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Morris and Rose Bonvillian and two children, Jamie Paul Jr. and Rose. He is survived by his parents, Marvin G. Harris and Debra Wiltberger, two brothers, Mitchelle and Mathew Harris, his fiance, Heather Borne, three children: Blaze, Crystal and Patricia; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on Feb. 2 followed by interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose. Condolences may be offered online at www.hcalexanderfh.com.

Little more than a week after officials from 14 parishes took a trip to Washington, D.C. to lobby against potential flood insurance rate hikes, some of those same officials convened with Sen. David Vitter at the home of a Bayou Gauche couple.
