Prater
Forrest “Hollywood” Prater, 46, passed away on Jan. 23, 2011 at his residence in Montz. He was a Bell Captain for 23 years with the Hilton Airport in Kenner. He was the owner of Reliable Skycaps for the past 10 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, D’Andrea Rose LaCoste Prater, one daughter, Jessica Prater, one sister, Laura Moody and one brother, Richard Prater, as well as a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Junior Lee Prater and Dorothy Stansbury, and one brother, Emanuel Prater.
Memorial services will be held at the H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. A visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to: www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.

FEMA deadline passes with no new flood rates - 616 views
After indicating they would release new flood insurance rates by June 1 to be applied to local homes under the Biggert-Waters Act, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has said the release of that information will now be delayed.
