Raceland man charged with rape of parish juvenile
A 30-year-old Raceland man has been arrested and charged with aggravated rape and indecent behavior with a parish juvenile, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Between 2004-05, Luther T. Holt allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a female juvenile who was a family acquaintance. The girl recently told her mother of the rape, and the mother contacted the Sheriff’s Office, according to spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes.
Holt is being held on an $180,000 bail.
