Making Monet
Hahnville High School students in Judy Westerhaus’ French III class recently completed a project on Impressionism.

The students selected a painting from an impressionist artist and explained their painting to the class with respect to the use of brush strokes, technique and light.

The lesson culminated with a painting lesson by Lori Elliot of “Cupcakes and Canvas” where each student created his or her own “Monet.”
