Louisiana Federal Credit Union to hold scholarship contest
Graduating seniors are invited to enter LFCU’s Ronald E. Thomas Scholarship essay contest. This year’s essay topic is “Discuss the importance of structuring your financial future in early adulthood.” Essay must be 400-500 words, typed and double spaced. Interested seniors must be members of Louisiana Federal Credit Union in good standing. Essays can be mailed to LFCU, c/o The Ronald E. Thomas Scholarship Committee, P.O Box 1956, LaPlace, LA., 70069 or dropped off at any LFCU location. All essays are due no later than 5p.m. on Friday, March 10. Essays must include senior’s name, home telephone number, address, high school name, and school telephone number on a separate cover sheet of the essay.
