Convicted sex offender charged with molesting 6-year-old girl
A 24-year-old Boutte man who is a convicted sex offender was arrested and charged with molesting a 6-year-old girl, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Christopher Sam, of 617 Magnolia Ridge Road, was arrested near his home and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and failure to register as a sex offender.
The young girl was a family acquaintance.
Sam was also booked with simple criminal damage under $500, resisting an officer, possession of marijuana, simple burglary and on a previous attachment.

Arrest made in connection with West Bank burglary - 2413 views
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 29-year-old Waggaman man they believe could be responsible for up to nine home burglaries that took place in Luling and Ama in the last month.
